Social responsibility is a core value at Berlin-Chemie Menarini, especially during the holiday season. In 2025, the company’s popular Wish Tree campaign (Wunschbaumaktion) returns for its third year running.
The idea is straightforward yet powerful: employees pick a star, purchase the gift and wrap it with care. All packages are then collected in mid-December and delivered to the children in time for Christmas. For these children, a fulfilled wish is much more than a present: it brings warmth, hope and the reassurance that someone is thinking of them.
The campaign is run in partnership with Schenk doch mal ein Lächeln e.V., an association Berlin-Chemie Menarini previously teamed up with for the school cone initiative. Founded in 2015 by a group of seven friends and relatives, the association was born from a shared desire to give back to the Berlin community and brighten the lives of those going through tough times. Over the years, it has organised numerous donation drives and gift campaigns, focusing primarily on supporting children, young people and the homeless.
The Wish Tree campaign holds a special place at Berlin-Chemie Menarini because it shows what can be achieved when a community comes together. Year after year, employees embrace this initiative with genuine enthusiasm, and it is precisely this spirit that makes it so meaningful.
